Sisters make dash for charity

Strathnaver sisters, Marsaili (left) and Catriona MacLeod, raised £450 for Cancer Research UK when they took part in the charity’s “Race for life” in Aberdeen on June 21. The 5k fundraising race, open only to members of the fair sex, was run by nearly 3,000 people along the harbour front. Said Catriona: “Despite the horrendous downpours we enjoyed the run, spurred on by the support of all who had sponsored us and thinking of those we knew who had battled cancer — it was good to be able to do something to contribute.”
